Sonalisa Mishra currently residing in Brisbane (Australia) was born and brought up in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, and from the very beginning she had a strong interest towards the performing arts, and at the nascent age of 3 she started learning Hindustani Classical Vocals with her elder sister. Sonalisa was taught by Classical vocal “Guru Gaurang Samanth” for almost 10 years and hence she developed a deep bond with music, especially singing, and has won several local singing competitions and has also actively performed on Stage shows all over India. To add another feather to her cap, Sonalisa is also a trained Odissi Dancer and was trained by “Guru Gangadhar Pradhan” right from the age of 3 years. At the nascent age Sonalisa has also tried her acting carrier doing ollywood serials and modeling shoots.
Since moving to Brisbane (Australia) 5 years ago, Sonalisa has performed at several Concerts in Australia and Papua New Guinea with many talented musicians. In December 2019, Sonalisa had also won the Australian Icon Title and competed at 3 International Indian Icon shows in the USA. Sonalisa has also recorded and posted several unplugged cover songs online.
